Four people are facing charges following a traffic stop in Bath last week.
According to Bath Police, 41-year-old Matthew J. Squires and 35-year-old Sheila D. Gay, both of Bath, and 31-year-old Heather L.M. Cunningham and 36-year-old Ryan S. Wittrock, both of Corning, were arrested after the traffic stop on Robie Street at about 11:26 p.m. on Dec. 5.
Squires, who was driving, and Gay both had multiple active warrants and were immediately arrested.
Officers then allegedly found a large quantity of fentanyl, packaging materials and a digital scale in the vehicle.
All four suspects were arrested and charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felony.
Gay is facing additional charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance, a Class B felony.
