Last week Lloyd Neurauter was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder of his ex-wife in Corning. On Friday, his daughter Karrie Neurauter was sentenced to 1-3 years in prison for her role in the murder. Attorney David Hoffman petitioned Judge Peter Bradstreet to reduce the charge to second degree manslaughter. There was a belief in the case that Karrie had been psychologically manipulated by her father. Judge Bradstreet and Steuben County District Attorney both believed there was reason for mercy in the sentencing. As part of the agreement, there will be no appeal of the conviction.
