One Dryden middle school student is dead and another in high school was injured when the pair was struck by a vehicle yesterday. State Police say the two girls, in sixth and ninth grade, were walking along the 500 block of Sheldon Road just after 5pm when they were struck by a vehicle. The sixth grade student was killed in the incident, while the ninth grader was injured. The Dryden School District released a statement this morning saying they are thinking of the families and have crisis teams in place to support students and staff. The victims have not been identified and State Police are still investigating.
