Bradford County is doling out $300,000 to volunteer fire companies and volunteer ambulance services that serve the county. Each fire company and ambulance service in the county will be receiving a $10,000 donation, and any services outside the county that still help service within Bradford County will receive a $2,500 donation. The money the county is using is a portion of the revenue it has received from the impact fee on gas drilling, also known as Act 13.
