An Elmira man was arrested for allegedly calling in a bomb threat to a store in the Arnot Mall. An employee at Lids hat store dialed 911 on Tuesday after receiving a bomb threat, and investigators searched the store and found no signs of a bomb. Following that investigation, the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old David Lopez. He has been charged with falsely reporting an incident in the second degree, a felony.
