One person was fatally stabbed inside a bar in Elmira last night. Police say the person was stabbed during an altercation that included gun shots inside Gush’s Thirsty Bear Bar on East Washington Avenue around 10:30pm. The stabbing victim was taken by bystanders to the hospital, where that person was pronounced dead. Police have not identified the victim and say they are still investigating the incident. More information is expected to be released today.
