Tioga Downs marked another milestone yesterday, as employees signed the final beam that was raised into place on the new Hotel and Conference Center. The casino is planning to open the 161-room hotel in November and the event center in December. Also yesterday, Tioga Downs announced this year’s Summer Concert Series. It will begin on June 17 with award-winning country artist Travis Tritt and continue with 38 Special on July 1, LeeAnn Rimes on Aug. 19, and wrap up Sept. 3 with Dick Fox’s Golden Boys, starring Frankie Avalon, Fabian, and Bobby Rydell. Tickets for all four concerts are now available at Ticketmaster locations and at the Tioga Downs Gift Shop. Horse racing will begin at the track on May 6.
