Ithaca police located a vehicle just hours after it was reported stolen on Wednesday. Now a woman is in custody, and she is charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. According to police, 27-year-old Samantha Maynard, of Ithaca, stole a 2010 Jeep Cherokee as it idled outside of a business. A large amount of cash was also inside. Police found the vehicle traveling the South Hill area and stopped it in the 700 block of Giles Street.
