A Johnson City man is facing charges after police say he stabbed a dog and then the dog’s owner yesterday. Police accuse 47-year-old Samuel Lambert of stabbing the victim’s dog earlier in the afternoon, which led to an altercation that resulted in the man receiving stab wounds to his head. He was treated at the scene in the area of 212 Grand Avenue for minor injuries. Lambert is facing felony charges for attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and tampering with evidence. He remains in custody.
