Four of the forty-nine guns stolen last October from a Horsehead’s gun shop have been recovered. Video Surveillance as well as an anonymous tip helped authorities trace the theft and sale of the guns to Douglas Church, Zachary Smith, and Brianna Lowe. One of the guns was found to be used in an attempted homicide in Elmira on June 1st. Since the theft, Scott’s Guns has revamped their security, including new alarms, and better surveillance among other measures. This is being done to prevent any more weapons from entering the hands of criminals.
