The New York Jets will be bringing their training camp back to Cortland this summer. After exploring other options, the Jets decided to stay with SUNY Cortland, following a statement back in January that the team would perform their due diligence to have the best possible environment for their camp. The Jets have held their training camp in Cortland every year since 2009 with the exception of 2011 following the NFL’s lockout. Among this year’s attractions figures to be newly signed quarterback Michael Vick. The Jets were at the end of a three-year contract with SUNY Cortland, which was set to expire at the end of May. Last summer the campus saw 21,000 visitors come to the school for the training camp sessions.
