The Canton man that led police on a chase last month may be able to accept a plea deal in order to have some of the charges against him dropped. 44-year-old John Gundaker is facing charges of fleeing police, along with making terroristic threats to a police officer, among other charges. According to the public defender representing Gundaker, the possible plea deal would call for Gundaker pleading guilty to the fleeing charge in exchange for all other charges being dropped. Gundaker’s bail at the time of his initial arrest had been set at $1.5 million, but following the proposed plea deal, that bail has been modified to $95,000. He is currently being held in the Bradford County Correctional Facility.
