A former Autozone employee on Elmira Street in Athens Township has been charged with theft by unlawful taking. 20-year-old Stephen Vincent Comereski II, has been arrested for making fraudulent returns in their sales system totaling $742.92. Comereski is also accused of taking merchandise from the store totaling $445. The thefts occurred in the months of June and July of this year. Comereski is expected to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on September 9th.
