The Sayre School District Board of Education voted last night to go ahead with two major projects in 2016. The first project being tackled by the district is to replace boilers at both Snyder Elementary and the Sayre High School. This was originally projected to cost around $1.5 Million in original estimates, but has since been determined to cost closer to $3 Million. The school board also voted to make renovations to the high school gymnasium. The gym will receive a new floor, bleachers, and air-circulation system. Keystone Associates Architects, Engineers, and Surveyors LLC of Binghamton has been selected as the contractor for both projects.
