New York State Police will be out in full force this holiday season to crack down on drunk driving. Data shows that the holiday season can be a particularly dangerous time of the year due to an increased number of drunk drivers on the roadways. As part of the police’s “Drunk Driving, Over the Limit, Under Arrest” initiative, police will be setting up DWI checkpoints, DWI saturation details, and underage drinker enforcement details.
