A Towanda man is facing charges related to heroin possession. 29-year-old Richard Johnson was charged by Towanda Police with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count for heroin, one for the painkiller Oxycodone. He was arrested after Towanda Police received information regarding suspicious activity involving a parked vehicle at Memorial Park. Johnson was jailed on $15,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing next Wednesday.
