Two juveniles in Sayre have been arrested on charges of Possession of a firearm by a minor, and Firearms not to be carried without a license. The arrests come after Sayre Police were alerted to the possibility of a 17-year-old male attempting to sell a handgun for money to purchase illegal drugs. When Sayre Police questioned the 17-year-old, he told authorities that he returned the firearm to a 16-year-old boy who had it before him. Police later found the 16-year-old boy with a 9mm handgun, as well as, a .45 caliber handgun. The police investigation is ongoing.
