The Bradford County Historical Society will explore the beginning of the silent film era Friday as part of its Friday Night at the Museum series.
Starting at 6 p.m., educator Tom Schuster will present this history while also highlighting the many stars and directors from Bradford County who gained notoriety in the silent and “talkie” film industry.
The Friday Night at the Museum series continues through October at the Bradford County Historical Society, located at 109 Pine Street in Towanda. Doors open a half-hour before each event.
Future events include the Patterson Screen Company July 18, the Great Hunt of 1805 on August 15, The Justice Bell on September 19, and Native American Life on October 17.
