Early Tuesday morning, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were called to Interstate 81 at exit 11 for a crash involving a tractor trailer. The driver lost control of his vehicle on the shoulder of the road. The tractor trailer then went through the guide rail and over an earth embankment coming to a rest in the in the median. The accident damaged more than 400 feet of guiderail. The driver was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
