A Binghamton man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing a woman on Wednesday.
According to Binghamton Police, 38-year-old Michael Davis has been charged with assault in the first degree and aggravated criminal contempt.
Police responded to Colfax Avenue at around 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday and found a 25-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where she was listed in stable conditi
Davis was found nearby and taken into custody. The incident remains under investigation.
