Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham has spoken out about the recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity in Broome County.
Kraham told WBNG-TV that any arrests made by ICE are happening without the knowledge or participation of the Binghamton Police Department.
The mayor said he found out about the recent ICE arrests through social media.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Office has also said they are not participating in any immigration enforcement activity.
