The Binghamton Rumble Ponies has extended its lease with Mirabito Stadium.
The minor league baseball team will be playing in Binghamton until at least 2035 thanks to the extension.
The 2027 New York State budget included $6 million in funding to be used for necessary stadium updates.
That funding will be added to $1.2 million dollars in city and team investments along with $10 million in planned city and federal investments for stadium district enhancements.
Some of the improvements include new playing field and dugouts, renovations to the press box and technology upgrades and increased accessibility and ADA upgrades.
