Binghamton University will officially welcome its next president next month.
Ann D’Alleva will take over the role on November 1.
She comes to Binghamton after serving as provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at the University of Connecticut.
D’Alleva has said she will host a listening tour to hear from students, staff, faculty, local and state leaders and other community members.
She is taking over for longtime Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger who announced his retirement last October.
