A body that was found in Vestal last week has been identified as a person who was reported missing last month.
According to Binghamton Police, officers with Vestal Police and the New York State Police responded to the area of the riverbank behind Bob Murphy Inc on Vestal Road at around 2:30 pm on Wednesday.
A deceased male was found on the embankment.
Binghamton Police said the male was identified as Colyn C. Williams.
Police said the cause of death does not appear criminal in nature.
The investigation is ongoing.
