OWEGO, N.Y. — A Bradford man is facing multiple felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Owego over the weekend.
New York State Police say 43-year-old Brian W. Raymond was pulled over on the Southern Tier Expressway on March 15 after troopers observed traffic violations.
During the stop, investigators say they discovered approximately 101 grams of fentanyl, 51.2 grams of cocaine, and a digital scale.
Raymond is charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, including charges involving intent to sell, along with criminal use of drug paraphernalia, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest.
Authorities say Raymond attempted to flee when troopers tried to take him into custody but was quickly apprehended.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment of a minor head injury before being processed at the state police barracks in Owego and transported to the Tioga County Jail.
