Michael Rivera Jr. has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, and five years parole for the attempted murder of a woman on Berlin Street in Binghamton in December 2017. According to the 7-count indictment, Rivera attempted to cause the death of a woman with a knife, in addition to restraining and strangling her.
