Binghamton man sentenced to eight years on drugs, weapons charges

A Binghamton man was sentenced to eight years in prison on drugs and weapons charges.

According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, 42-year-old Robert C. Wilson was sentenced for the criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

On July 19, 2024, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at a Main Street apartment and recovered over 93 grams of meth, 46 grams of cocaine and nearly 4 grams of fentanyl, along with a cutting agent, packaging materials, a digital scale and nearly $8,000 in cash.

Wilson will also face three years of probation following his release from prison.
