An arrest has been made in the theft of copper from a Harrison Avenue residence in Endicott on June 22nd. 33-year-old Manani Oliveras of Binghamton was arrested in Owego with several duffel bags full of copper piping. Police say there may be a connection between this arrest and other copper thefts in Broome county. The arrest was made by the Endicott Police with assistance from the Owego Police Department, the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the Binghamton Police Department, and the New York State Police. Oliveras was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Jail.
