A Binghamton man has been arrested on child pornography charges. The FBI opened their investigation following a tip from Google. Two images were uploaded to Google containing both email address information and the IP address. A second Google tip provided the same email and IP information. James O’Brien has been charged in the case. Apparently, O’Brien used twenty to thirty different cell phones in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid detection. O’Brien is now in the custody of the US Marshall Service.
