Phillip Ginter has officially started as the Binghamton Zoo’s executive director as it gears up for its 144th Grand Opening. Ginter is a lifelong resident of Broome County, with a broad background in the local non-profit community. His experience in grant management, program development, strategic visioning and community engagement will complement the existing animal care team. This provides a strong balanced zoo staff and administration that together can expand the success in meeting the Binghamton Zoo’s community and global missions…specifically conservation, education, and recreation.
