The Binghamton Police Department will be promoting breast cancer awareness and to raise money for breast cancer research. During the month of October, the BPD will be participating in the American Cancer Society’s “Real Men Wear Pink’ Campaign. As part of the effort, members of the Binghamton Police Dept. will be wearing Pink Badges during the month of October. Officers had to pay for the badges themselves. A portion of the sale of the badges is being donated by the manufacturer to breast cancer research.
