The Glen Aubry man that hit a state trooper with his vehicle last January has entered a guilty plea. He had rejected the deal last week. 37-year-old James Giacalone hit the officer, while trying to avoid arrest. He will be sentenced to 12 years in prison at his November sentencing hearing. The trooper was treated and released from the hospital, but he has not yet returned to work.
