A leopard at the Binghamton Zoo has died. Kalinika, an Amur leopard died of old age this past weekend according to zookeepers. She has been at the zoo since 2013 and was 19 years-old.
That type of leopard is an endangered species, and has a life expectancy of 10 to 15 years in the wild.
