Binghamton Police responded early Thursday to a shooting at an apartment building near Clinton Street. Officers found a 23-year-old Johnson City man who had been shot inside the building located at 12 Wilson Street. The man suffered a life-threatening injury and was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police say the incident stemmed from a previous argument and was not a random act, though no arrests have been made.
