Broome County Executive Jason Garner took to Facebook and Twitter on Sunday to denounce weekend defacement to county property, including the Courthouse and the Columbus statue. Garnar wrote: “Let me be perfectly clear — lawlessness will not be tolerated in Broome County and we will work to find the person who did this and bring them to justice.” Garnar posted three pictures of the memorials damaged with crude writing.
