Chenango man facing up to 8 years in state prison

A Town of Chenango man will spend up to eight years in prison following a drug conviction in Broome County Court.

According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, 45-year-old Andre M. Gilliam was found guilty of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree for possession of fentanyl, and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

At sentencing, Gilliam will face up to eight years in New York State Prison followed by three years of post-release supervision.
