A dryer started a fire at a home in Vestal on Tuesday.
According to the Vestal Fire Department, the fire occurred at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday on Murray Hill Road.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke inside the home, with fire extending from out of the dyer and into the rest of the house.
The Vestal Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from Endicott, Endwell and West Corners as well as the Vestal Police Department, Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad and NYSEG.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
