A planned traffic stop by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force resulted in six arrests in Endicott and Vestal on Monday night. Following the traffic stop in Endicott, searches were executed on a Fillmore Avenue residence and a hotel room in Vestal. Police recovered about $17,000 in Crystal Meth, a small amount of crack cocaine, pills, and drug packaging paraphernalia. Police also recovered two loaded pistols, including one reported stolen in Kentucky. 41-year-old Sarah Armstrong of Louisville, Kentucky was charged with five felony charges. 41-year-old Bonnie Werner of Johnson City was charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. 27-year-old Donnie Helm of Radcliff, Kentucky and 52-year-old George Shepard of Endicott were also charged with felony Criminal Possession. Two others were charged with misdemeanors. All six suspects were arraigned and five were then sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
