The Johnson City YMCA will be getting a grant from New York State for a major renovation.
The $1.2 million dollar grant will be used to renovate the local YMCA’s swimming pool and surrounding areas.
The Johnson City pool received an uptick in visitors this year after the pool at the Binghamton YMCA was closed to accomodate the homeless.
The renovations at the Johnson City YMCA pool are expected to be completed in time for next summer.
