At about 8:45 PM on Monday, the Johnson City Police stopped a vehicle on Main Street for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle was found to be wanted in Pennsylvania on drug charges. Police also found a loaded handgun, methamphetamine, and drug packaging materials. 29-year-old Vincent Perico, of Montrose, was charged with felony Weapons charges, felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as several misdemeanors and traffic violations. The suspect was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Jail.
