A project is underway for a new luxury housing development in Vestal.
Gorick Construction has begun demolition work at the former Quality Inn across from Binghamton University on the Vestal Parkway.
The $70 million dollar housing project is expected to include 200 high-end apartment units with rent starting at $1,800 a month.
The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
