The man wanted in connection with a double homicide in Binghamton is believed to be in Florida.
The Volusia County Florida Sheriff’s Office has announced that Scott Mitchell is possibly on foot in Florida. They believe he could be in West DeLand, which is north of Orlando.
Mitchell is a suspect in the murders of Daniel McCloe and Marshall VanOven, who were reported missing on Feb. 3 and found dead in a private residence on Feb. 5.
According to police, Mitchell is considered armed and dangerous.
