The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services will conduct a series of free naloxone, also known as Narcan, training sessions in Broome County this week. During the one hour sessions, participants will learn how to recognize, respond to and reverse an opioid overdose using naloxone. Three sessions will be held today at the Broome County Health Department at 226 Front St., in Binghamton at noon. In the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena at 3 p.m. and at the Whitney Point High School Gym tonight at 6:30 p.m. Another session will be held Friday at the Broome County Library, at 10 a.m .
