The son of former State Senator Tom Libous is thinking about getting into the family business. Nick Libous told local media he is expecting to make an announcement soon. He is the son of the late State Senator Tom Libous who served as state senator for the 52nd district for almost 14 terms until he died in 2016 of cancer. It’s believed Libous will run against Assemblyman Clifford Crouch in a republican primary this fall. Crouch announced his re-election plans last month for the seat he’s held for more than two decades.
