A Port Dickinson man has died following an altercation at a federal prison in Michigan. Christian Maire was involved in a fight involving seven inmates of the Milan Detention Center, near Detroit. He had been sentenced to a 40-year term for his role in a child pornography conspiracy. Officials have not released any information on the circumstances of the fight. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
