The Broome Talent Task Force have announced the creation of a marketing program aimed at communicating information on the nearly 4,000 jobs available in Broome County. The Agency, in partnership with the Task Force, will launch a proactive advertising within Broome County and outside of the area. They have identified strategies to address immediate workforce shortages for in-demand occupations; create a long-term strategy to address the aging-out of the current workforce; and to develop future workers by developing a robust K-12 pipeline between education and industry.
