A small plane carrying five people crashed near Sidney on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the single engine Piper PA-46 crashed at about 2 p.m. in Delaware County after taking off from an airport in Oneonta.
The condition of the passengers and pilot have not yet been released.
The FAA is assisting the National Transportation Safety Board with the investigation.
