Police say the two-year-old son of a woman arrested in Broome County was shot by another child at his home in South Carolina. The boy had not yet received medical treatment when troopers stopped the vehicle on Interstate 81 in the town of Chenango early Friday, according to New York State Police. According to Horry County Police, the child who lived with his mom and brothers in Conway, South Carolina was shot in the leg with a gun from his parents’ safe.
