The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has announced that it has paid off the mortgage on the home of the Binghmaton firefighter who was killed in the line of duty earlier this year.
Binghamton firefighter John JR Gaudet, who served the department for 11 years, died during a fire in downtown Binghamton in February.
Gaudet left behind a wife and three childen.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is paying off the mortgages of 25 families of fallen first responders around the country.
