A truck rolled over on Route 17 westbound between Deposit and Hancock on Monday morning at about 6:30AM. The truck was loaded with construction and demolition debris, which spilled over the roadway. The highway had one lane closed for much of the day. Police believe the crash was caused by unsafe speed and an unsafe lane change. The driver was ticketed. There were no injuries.

Also a tractor-trailer hauling wastewater sludge crashed Tuesday afternoon. State Police say the crash happened on State Route 17 westbound between Deposit and Sanford around 4 o’clock. The truck driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. DOT said a westbound lane and an eastbound lane were blocked so the tractor-trailer could be removed.
